Check WHERE they send your passport! And if they said that you need to come and pick it up MAKE SURE they put a special sticker on your passport! They told me to pick it up at the consulate the next day (we were in a hurry because of my husband's work) and they sent it somewhere by a mistake!!! So be careful and good luck!

Like many government offices a lot of show and no go. Very little work seems to get done. The pace is frustratingly slow. They must be paid by the hour or salary and production doesn't seem to be too much of a concern, only a good workplace experience? Guess good job if you can get it? Pay for play?

Got my visa stamp from Tijuana as I could not get appointment in India before December. Consulate is pretty organized but you have to wait couple of hours once inside even though you arrive on time. I would suggest to carry a book or something else to read since they do not allow electronics inside.

Still the employees at the Window Visa in Tijuana are arrogant and no have any consideration with the person who apply in a good faith for a visa, they do not even review the documents, not even take a look, do not open the file how can resolve the problem when denied a visa, because they said "can not tell you, but it is denied" probably they receive a commision for every visa they denied? do not understand the method, if the system said o have information that the person have no idea, how can them resolve the issues?

Because if the Consulate system said something about the person who is applying, they do not have the opportunity to defend what the system said .

Bad experience, my wife went for the visa a 2nd time today and her visa was denied again and again they do not check any of the paper work. Ask her name and job and that's was it. Denied. Again reason being section 214 when we have no intention of moving over have a our home and family here. It feels like this guy's have a quota and don't bother to check the paperwork one brings in.
